Sanitec stainless steel sinks are made from 18/10 stainless steel, which resists corrosion by forming a very thin and rough layer of oxide that removes rust. The oxide layer, when in contact with oxygen, heals any scratches or other alterations, helping to prevent corrosion and maintain the shine of the surface. The quality of each sink is ensured through continuous checks at every stage of its production, as well as through final inspection.
Maintenance and Care: Sanitec stainless steel sinks require minimal maintenance to keep their shine and beauty. For cleaning, neutral cleaners are recommended, particularly those specialized for stainless surfaces ("Buffel Inox"). To prevent the buildup of salts and residues, wipe your sink with a cotton cloth. Sinks with a satin finish should be cleaned and dried in the direction of the finish. Avoid leaving sponges, salts, corrosive substances, sharp, hot, or iron items in your sink for extended periods, as this may cause discoloration or scratches.
