Sika Sikaswell S-2 sealant is a one-component, hydrophilic, water-swellable, polyurethane-based sealant for construction joints and penetrations in concrete elements. It swells on contact with water and seals penetrations for pipes, cables and metal elements. It is also used to secure and bond SikaSwell®-A and SikaSwell®-P hydrophilic profiles.
It is applied using a cartridge gun as a triangular bead and is ready to use. Consumption depends on the bead dimensions and substrate. A cartridge yields 4.1 m with a 12 mm bead, 3.1 m with a 15 mm bead and 1.8 m with a 20 mm bead.
