The Satel KNX-SA24 DIN rail timer controls eight channels via the KNX bus and supports flashing, switch-on and switch-off delays, and staircase lighting mode. It includes AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR, and XNOR logic functions, along with threshold, safety, state override, and scene recall functions for each channel. It can switch resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads and is configured using ETS software.

The status of the unit and its channels is provided via feedback, while the channels respond to power failure and restoration. Manual control is available via buttons on the housing, which has an LED indicator for each channel. The timer is mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail.
