Jealousy is a familiar emotion for children, as they are at a specific stage of development characterized by egocentrism. However, it is often confused with anger. What are the boundaries of these two emotions, and how will children realize that when they stop comparing themselves with others and appreciate their own abilities, they will feel safe and free to enjoy the diversity of our world and the joy of life?
In this story, while the animals compete to see who has the greatest gift, the raccoon says nothing about its wonderful "mask" and the amazing "bracelets" of its tail. It only rejoices in everyone else's joy. What is the secret of this joy that makes this unlikely little creature always smile and never feel sad? Will the animals discover it?
Message: For the joy of rejoicing in the joy of others. Emotions: THE EMOTION OF JOY * SELF-CONFIDENCE * DIVERSITY
In order to ensure that children have a healthy social life built on effective relationships, they must cultivate empathy, the ability to put themselves in others' shoes, to understand and feel things as another person experiences them. This need is addressed by the illustrated books in this series, which promote emotional intelligence.
With the proposed approach for parents and educators, they seek to introduce children to see the world through others' eyes, after they first learn to recognize and manage their own emotions. The series "Books Promoting Emotional Intelligence" consists of 22 books.
