It easily fits 1 rod, and it also has a 2nd large compartment that can fit a 2nd rod. It also has 2 small front pockets where quite a few small accessories can fit. Very good and convenient.
Note that for rods with a casting/spinning mechanism, it may be necessary to temporarily remove the mechanism in order to close the case; it does fit, but it is borderline.
