The Axagon CLR-M2XT passive heatsink features an aluminium body with transverse fins and a metal frame, helping dissipate heat from both sides of the M.2 SSD. It is compatible with single-sided and double-sided 22 x 80 mm M.2 drives, both SATA (AHCI) and NVMe (PCI-Express), regardless of capacity. The thermally conductive pads allow it to be fitted to drives of different heights, while the heatsink can reduce drive temperatures by up to 30 °C and prevent speed reductions caused by thermal throttling.

With an overall height of 24 mm and a heatsink height of 20 mm, it can also be installed in tight spaces. It works with Axagon M.2 adapters and M.2 (NGFF) slots on motherboards.
