The Satel CD-2-DG infrared curtain motion detector detects movement within a curtain-shaped zone and is designed to protect open windows and interior doors, as well as to separate protected zones. It uses a passive infrared (PIR) sensor, a digital detection algorithm, and digital temperature compensation. Sensitivity is adjustable via a potentiometer.
It can be integrated into a home automation system and used to monitor unprotected passageways. Tamper protection is activated if the housing is opened or the device is detached from the mounting surface.
