Description

Camelot 3000 is not accidentally titled one of the most important works of the 9th Art. The stunning work of acclaimed creators Brian Bolland and Mike Barr is loved all over the world, while in our country it is one of the most recognizable comic book titles. It marks a historic moment in comics, as it is the first maxi-series and the first comic book aimed at an adult audience from DC, paving the way for the release of the monumental Watchmen and The Sandman.

For centuries, the legendary figure of King Arthur served as a shining example of justice and morality, the embodiment of chivalry who was humbled by the betrayal of his Queen and his closest friend. Despite his rest for over a thousand years, it was whispered that, in England's darkest hour, Arthur would return to save his people from destruction. This moment seems to have arrived, not just for England, but for the whole of Earth!

We are in the year 3000, where the world faces a threat it has never seen before. A seemingly unstoppable alien race is determined to enslave humankind. Unable to confront the invaders' superior technology, humanity stands on the brink of destruction. Everything changes when a young man discovers an ancient tomb beneath the Glastonbury Tor and awakens Arthur Pendragon from an eternal slumber. With the resurrection of the eternal King, he calls upon his loyal knights, some now with new and strange forms, and prepares to send the would-be conquerors back into space.
