I have been using it for several years, with breaks to try other brands, in an Atlas Filtri housing. Based on the visual, olfactory, and taste impression, I think it excels compared to its competing filters, without having done a chemical analysis of the water. Very good activated carbon filter 0.5 micro always made in the USA not India like the matrix nor China that's why it's a bit more expensive. I tried it in Corinthia on tap drinking water and the taste is perfect. It filters exceptionally well. It also has NSF certification. Before I used the matrix and within 6 months the filter let a lot of carbon come out from inside the filter.

I contacted the store where I bought it and they told me to wait a few days and call them again if the problem persists.
