Let's talk to the French-speaking visitors of our country about the great rebetiko song and its legacy in Greek society and our contemporary culture.

The book Rebetika: Songs of the Greek Underworld has just been published in French by Éditions Aiora. The book - which is already available in English - includes an introduction by journalist and Hellenist Michel Grodent, as well as texts by musicologist Markos Dragoumis and musician and critic Sakis Papadimitriou.

It also includes the lyrics of approximately 60 songs, in Greek and French, 6 musical scores, and a glossary, while the illustrations are by Chronis Botsoglou.
