The Equator 2.0 offers essentially neutral performance with none of the excessive treble detail often found in this price category. The Equator is suitable for upgrading medium or larger-sized audio systems that need a little "TLC." The Atlas Equator 2.0 is a 2mm² cable using OFC (oxygen-free copper) conductors contained in a high-density PEF dielectric (insulating layer) that is much more effective than PVC or polyethylene. The superior dielectric offers both better measured performance and acoustic improvement in dynamics. The core assemblies are contained in a cotton thread to reduce microphonics and the outer jacket is in a white pearl finish. The termination is with Z plugs or high-quality soldered crystals.
