Fine distillate that has made Tyrnavos known to the ends of the world. A top-quality tsipouro, from the exceptional variety of Muscat Black Tyrnavos grapes, exuding floral aromas, mainly of rose, characteristic of this unique local variety.

Winemaking / Distillation

After processing the grapes for wine production, the pomace of Muscat of Tyrnavos is distilled in modern stills, using advanced distillation techniques, in order to highlight the unique, aromatic character of the grape.

    The review concerns only the product "Tyrnavos Tsipouro without Anise 2000ml" and NOT the "Tyrnavos Tsipouro without Anise 40% 700ml."

    Today I received a bottle of Tyrnavos Tsipouro without Anise in a 2L package.

    I know it sounds strange, but what I received has nothing to do with the same (supposedly) Tsipouro from the Agricultural Wine Cooperative of Tyrnavos in a 700ml package.

    I expected it to have the same wonderful and characteristic aroma of muscat that I have been enjoying for years by buying 700ml bottles, but to no avail.

    Literally, the bulk grappa they sell at our local market is much more flavorful and aromatic and costs almost half of what I bought.

    I am not a certified taster, but I believe I have a pretty good experience since, apart from my mouth and esophagus, my liver has filtered 'easily I would say' thousands of liters of alcohol.
    The best package for tsipouro is in this bottle.

    For example, a single variety roditis is like diesel compared to this.
