The Newell C8 is a universal eight-channel charger, compatible with most cylindrical batteries available for sale.

The LCD display shows:

• voltage
• current
• charging time
• internal resistance
• cell charging status

The specially designed casing allows for simultaneous charging of even larger batteries (type C or 22650) on eight channels.

The charger allows for automatic or manual selection of the optimal current intensity, with a default setting based on battery characteristics. The current adjustment range is:

• 100 mA to 1500 mA for lithium-ion batteries
• 100 mA to 1000 mA for Ni-MH and Ni-CD batteries

The Newell Smart C8 automatically recognizes the type of battery (Li-ion 4.2 V and NiMH/NiCd 1.48 V). For LiFEP04 and Li-ion 4.35 V batteries, the type must be entered manually.

The device measures the internal resistance and estimates the capacity of the cell before charging begins, with the values displayed on the LCD screen.

After charging is completed, the estimated capacity of the battery can be read on the display, minimizing the risk of overcharging.

The casing is made from fireproof materials and the heat dissipation design enhances safety.

The Smart C8 is capable of reviving excessively discharged lithium-ion batteries. However, reactivating cells that are discharged below a certain level may be impossible.
