As soon as the warranty expired, unfortunately, even though I put it to charge and it shows 100% battery, it only lasts for 10 seconds... and it happened from one day to the next... and the service told me that these toothbrushes simply cannot be repaired

Coming from the Professional Care 3000 which lasted nine years, this one is clearly better. Stronger motor and somehow the vibration does not transfer to the hand. Probably the Series 5 and 6 have the same characteristics in this regard.

Other than that, the options for brushing modes and the connectivity with a mobile phone to see what you are brushing are strange quirks that everyone should discuss with their psychologist. The "daily clean" or "sensitive" option is all a mentally balanced person needs.

Transition from an older model to this one. Better than the old one, especially regarding noise (lower). The issue is the battery life. Previous purchases were:
1) 02/09/2015 the Oral-b 5000 (6 years),
2) 22/11/2021 the Oral-b Genius X (3+ years) and
3) now the Oral-B IO Series 7
There is a decline in battery performance across the different models. The company should look into this. Also, they should provide proper charging instructions. I couldn't find anything on the Internet.

Incredible product. It has only one downside, it's a bit expensive. Other than that, it does everything it says and does it well! If you have extra, don't hesitate, it's worth it! And one last thing, the toothbrush is great but make sure to floss before your evening brushing! Oral B is amazing but it doesn't make coffee!

The magnet came off after 8 months and then it couldn't brush while it sounded like a broken motor. I had exactly the same problem with an IO 9, in a similar time frame...

Perfect. I had older models before. The io7 is much better. And fast charging. Battery life lasts up to a week with 2 uses per day

Very good cleaning, I have tried diamondclean sonicare and this one surpasses it in plaque cleaning. It also has better battery life, 20 brushings. I had the old oral be pro 2000 for 5 years until the battery died and I didn't bother with it.

Update: It stopped working after a month of daily use, suddenly it doesn't turn on, that's why the 2 stars, it will go for service to see if it's a random incident, and I will come back.

Update 2: There was a quick replacement by the company and it works flawlessly again, so I am satisfied with 4 stars and I will come back if it withstands the test of time.

After two months of use, the impressions are excellent.
After 6 months, I remove (initially) one star due to the battery that has started acting up, not only because its autonomy has decreased but mainly because it suddenly drops from 50% to zero.

After 14 months of use, I remove another star, as the behavior of the battery is now very poor. It no longer works at all with <50% while very often it stops at 70 or even 75% and needs recharging.

The battery life has dropped to less than half after just a few months of use. You have to constantly place the toothbrush on the charging base. Bad experience. I expected more from Oral-B. I ended up switching to Philips. Really bad battery life, I expected more...

Well, the toothbrush with magnet technology is amazing! I used to use electric oral b 3D brushes for years, etc., and I decided to try the new iO with a magnet. Huge difference in everything. No comparison to the old ones, in terms of how the brush head attaches to the body of the electric toothbrush. Excellently designed to withstand time. It has 3 indicators on the light for the pressure you apply while brushing. White for low pressure, green for ideal, and red for high. It tells you to change the brush head every three months! It charges quickly, maximum of 3 hours for a full charge. I consider the Series 7 to be value for money. Series 8 has a colored display (unnecessary) and an extra program (also unnecessary). While Series 6 has the charger of the old generation, taking 12 hours for a full charge. One of the few purchases that satisfied me and more.
