Macro ring set for cameras with M42 lenses. The rings allow the use of M42 lenses for macro photography and are compatible with digital and analog cameras that have an M42 threaded bayonet mount.

The set includes:

  • 7mm ring
  • 14mm ring
  • 28mm ring
  • bayonet adapter for the lens
  • bayonet adapter for the body

The macro photography rings are made of durable high-quality aluminum. The rings do not support autofocus, manual focus is required. By adjusting the focus manually, the desired reproduction scale can be achieved.

    Fits vintage M42 lenses, not for telescope mount-style m42 that's a different thread.
    I got it because my vintage 200mm lens would not focus to infinity with the standard m42 to Sony E-mount. This kit and a flat ring E-mount to M42 adapter (the one that's 2mm thin, not the standard adapter) and you can get any lens to focus where you want it by using one or a combination of 2 of the rings above.
    For my lens I had to use the two thinner rings together, but it also works great for macro if you use all 3 combined.

    TLDR; Works great for vintage macro or to fix your vintage lens not focusing to infinity on a new camera, provided you also buy a flat ring adapter.
