The engineers at HOYA have developed a new anti-static coating that functions like a dynamic field around the filter to repel dust. Ideally suited for environments where dust is common, these filters require less frequent cleaning and maintenance than traditional filters.

The hardened, anti-static top layer is water-repellent and stain-resistant, and it cleans easily when smudged or when a fingerprint is left on the surface.

The new professional FUSION ANTISTATIC NEXT filters are made in Japan using carefully melted and blended selected silicate salts to create high-performance optical glass.

HOYA employs exceptional care and precision to apply the enhanced formula of 18 layers of Super Multi-Coating (on both sides), which significantly reduces or eliminates reflections on the surface of the glass and delivers an extremely high degree of light transmission.

This means that the filter has virtually no effect on the color balance, contrast, or clarity of the final image.
