The Eura CGD-50A2 carbon monoxide and gas sensor is used for the continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide and natural gas presence in the air. It detects and alerts when the maximum safe concentration of these gases is exceeded.
It is small in size and enclosed in a housing. It uses two separate sensors: a semiconductor sensor for gas detection and an electrochemical sensor for carbon monoxide. The electronic control system allows for a high detection rate.
When a dangerous concentration of carbon monoxide or gas is detected, the device produces an audible and visual alarm.
The CGD-50A2 sensor should be installed in a room where there is a potential risk of dangerous gas concentration. It should be placed at head height for carbon monoxide and above 1.5 m for natural gas. Importantly, the audible alarm must be clearly heard from other areas.
WARNING! The sensor has been tested in a specialized laboratory for alarm functionality.
