Cable Simulator CS-1 (WAADACS1)
The accessory is used for training and demonstration purposes and is also used to roughly estimate the accuracy of resistance measurement. The results obtained from measurements performed on the simulator should be treated as estimates and not as calibration results.
The CS-1 cable simulator is designed to simulate the insulation resistance of power cables. The adapter uses 4 mm banana plugs. This allows you to measure resistance with most meters intended for this purpose available in the offer of Sonel S.A.
By using the cable simulator, the user can check the accuracy of measurements made with devices from the MIC series - insulation resistance meters. Other devices designed to work with the simulator include multifunctional electrical installation parameters meters, which are equipped with the insulation resistance measurement function.
The resistance achieved thanks to the simulator can remain under external direct voltage of up to 1000V for an extended period. The housing is particularly resistant to mechanical damage. The accessory allows you to simulate measurements of four resistance values.
