The Monimoto 9 is the brand new Monimoto model, which is even smaller, easier to install, and now 100% waterproof. With the built-in rechargeable 900mAh lithium battery, you no longer have to worry about or pay for battery replacements, offering even greater convenience in use.
This is an excellent choice of reliable GPS Tracker, made in Lithuania, and can be used for motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, and cars. The Monimoto 9 uses LTE-M (LTE Cat-M1) and 2G networks and operates in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the United States.
It notifies us via the app on our mobile phone (smartphone) when the vehicle moves, with a direct call to our phone. If we do not respond through the app, we receive a notification.
In order for the application to work on Android devices, software version 8.0 or higher is required, while on iOS devices, iOS 14 or higher is needed.

How it works
The package includes a key fob that is paired with the Monimoto and must be kept with you
If Monimoto detects movement and the key fob is within a 25-meter range (in open spaces without interference), it does nothing

Within 1 minute, it calls your mobile phone (the one registered in the app), and after 30 seconds, it sends the vehicle's location via the application in Google Maps format
Location updates are sent every 5-10 minutes
If you have activated the "Live Tracking" option, you receive notifications every 2-3 minutes with your vehicle's current location
When the vehicle has stopped moving, you receive an update with its last location after 30 minutes and alarm mode is deactivated
If you have gone for a ride and forgotten your key fob, or you have lent your motorcycle to a friend and forgot to give them the key fob, you have the option the first time you receive an alarm mode notification to deactivate Monimoto for 1 to 24 hours to avoid unnecessary notifications on your mobile app by selecting Snooze Mode

I had the previous model and installed it in the car and got this one for the motorcycle.
I’ll start with its -few- disadvantages.
It doesn’t have live tracking as it doesn’t connect to the motorcycle’s battery.
That’s all.
It has its own rechargeable battery (which after many tests is still full) and it activates only when the bike is moved.
This also means it doesn’t drain the motorcycle’s battery, especially in winter.
If the bike is moved, it calls you and you have to answer or reject the call for it to stop.
It doesn’t just send a notification you might miss.
When the motorcycle is on the road, every five minutes—in alarm mode—it will show you the exact location and speed.
When I have it in an underground garage, it shows an approximate location, but that’s expected from all GPS devices.
Another big plus is that for 40 euros a year you renew the built-in SIM and don’t have to deal with mobile phone companies.
Guys, it does a very good job.
That’s my opinion.

Δεν έχει live tracking καθώς δεν συνδέεται με την μπαταρία της μηχανής.
Αυτό μόνο
Έχει δική του μπαταρία επαναφορτιζόμενη (που με πολλές δοκιμές ακόμα είναι στο φουλ) και ενεργοποιείται μόνο όταν κουνηθεί η μοτό.
Αυτό σημαίνει και ότι δεν σου εξαντλεί την μπαταρία της μοτοσικλέτας ειδικά τον χειμώνα.
Αν η μοτό κουνηθεί σε παίρνει τηλέφωνο και πρέπει να απαντήσεις ή να απορρίψεις την κλήση για να σταματήσει.
Δεν στέλνει απλά μια ειδοποίηση που μπορεί να μη δεις.
Όταν η μοτοσικλέτα είναι στο δρόμο ανά πεντάλεπτο- σε κατάσταση συναγερμού- θα σου δείξει και την ακριβή θέση και ταχύτητα.
Όταν την έχω σε κανένα υπόγειο γκαράζ δείχνει κατά προσέγγιση αλλά αυτό είναι αναμενόμενο από όλα τα GPS .
Θετικότατο επίσης είναι ότι με 40 ευρώ τον χρόνο ανανεώνεις και την ενσωματωμένη SIM και δεν μπλέκεις με εταιρείες κινητής τηλεφωνίας.

It does not give an accurate location, but it provides immediate updates, on the medium setting where I have it configured.
UPDATE:
After 6 - 7 months it broke, it no longer calls my mobile, the location is stuck on the previous day (!!). After continuous emails with the company alongside the store where I bought it, the company does not accept that it is defective, even though I had previously visited the store, where the salesperson tried for over half an hour to solve the problem and while the store had several customers inside, he had 'put them on hold' and was dealing with me. Needless to say, he couldn't solve it.
The company does not accept it as defective, but the store, to its credit, told me to return it.
In short, TRAGIC after sales, personally I would advise not to bother with this product, because if it breaks, you will be crying over 170 euros, plus the annual subscription for it to call your mobile.

UPDATE:
Μετά από 6 - 7 μήνες χάλασε, δεν με καλεί στο κινητό πλέον, το στίγμα είναι κολλημένο στην προηγούμενη ημέρα ( !! ). Μετά από συνεχόμενα email με την εταιρεία παράλληλα με το κατάστημα που το αγόρασα, η εταιρεία δεν δέχεται ότι είναι ελλαττωματικό, ενώ είχε προηγηθεί επίσκεψη στο κατάστημα, που ο πωλητής προσπαθούσε πάνω από μισή ώρα να επιλύσει το πρόβλημα και ενώ το κατάστημα είχε αρκετούς πελάτες μέσα στον χώρο, τους είχε "γειώσει" και ασχολούταν μαζί μου. Εννοείται πως δεν έβγαλε άκρη.
Η εταιρεία δεν το δέχεται ελλαττωματικό, αλλά το κατάστημα προς τιμήν του, μου είπε να το επιστρέψω.
Κοινώς ΤΡΑΓΙΚΟ after sales, προσωπικά θα συμβούλευα να μην ασχοληθεί κάποιος με το συγκεκριμένο, γιατί αν χαλάσει, θα κλαίει 170 ευρώ, συν την ετήσια συνδρομή για να σε καλεί στο κινητό.

Τα αρνητικα του που παρατηρησα ειναι :
- H ακριβεια του GPS δεν ειναι παντα σωστη. Μερικες φορες εχει αποκληση μερικων μετρων (5-10) σε πυκνοκατοικημένη περιοχη. Σε υπαιθρο ,ανοιχτο χωρο ειναι σχεδόν 100% accurate.
- Φυσικα δεν ειναι realtime tracker .. οταν ενεργοποιηθει λαμβανεις καθε μερικα λεπτα στιγμα GPS.
Ιδανική επιλογή για όσους θέλουν άμεση ειδοποίηση μέσω τηλεφώνου όταν κάποιος μετακινήσει το μηχανάκι. Παρά το μικρό μειονέκτημα στην ακρίβεια του GPS, η αξιοπιστία των ειδοποιήσεων και η ευκολία χρήσης το καθιστούν μια εξαιρετική επένδυση για την ασφάλεια του οχήματός.

Very easy to install. When the key fob is removed from the bike, the tracker is activated and in case the vehicle is moved, we receive a call on the mobile with a warning. I don't know if it works 1000% correctly. I've had it for a month and once it sent me a false alarm, for no reason at all. Apart from that, it is trouble-free.
I give it 4* because there is no way to know if it works properly... you just know that it works... and if it sends you a fake alarm, then you wonder even more intensely "if something happens, will it detect it?"
Δεν ξέρω αν λειτουργεί 1000% σωστά. Το έχω ένα μήνα και μια φορά μου έστειλε false συναγερμό, χωρίς λόγο και αιτία. Εκτός από αυτό είναι απροβλημάτιστο.
Του βάζω 4* γιατί δεν έχει ένα τρόπο να καταλάβεις ότι λειτουργεί σωστά...απλά ξες ότι λειτουργεί...κι αν σου στείλει κάνα fake alarm, τότε αναρωτιέσαι πιο έντονα "άραγε αν συμβεί κάτι, θα το καταλάβει;"
Very good and easy to install, value for money for the convenience it gives you. IT IS NOT A TRACKER that shows you where the vehicle is at all times; it is a device that WHEN the vehicle is moved, if the key is not nearby, sends you notifications (call/SMS etc.)

Quite good and very practical since you don't need to look for a SIM card and budget packages, it's plug and play, you download the app, set it up in less than 5 minutes, and it does its job very decently.
It doesn't have live tracking (it updates location every 5 minutes) but in my opinion that's an exaggeration anyway since it's a standalone system and has a built-in (rechargeable) battery.
On the positive side is its location accuracy and ergonomics, on the negative side there is a slight delay in the alarm notification system on the phone and also the annual cost which for some may be negligible (€40 subscription for its own SIM per year).
As for the battery, I haven't formed an opinion yet... I will update.

The battery is awesome guys, don't worry.
We're talking about needing a full charge or two per year (charges quickly) with little use of the alarm function and mainly stand by usage.
Αρκετά καλό και πολύ πρακτικό αφού δεν χρειάζεται να ψάξεις να του βάλεις SIM και budget πακέτα είναι plug and play, κατεβάζεις το app το ρυθμίζεις σε λιγότερο από 5 λεπτά και κάνει την δουλειά του αξιοπρεπέστατα.
Δεν έχει live tracking (κάνει ανανέωση τοποθεσίας ανά 5 λεπτά) αλλά κατά την γνώμη μου είναι υπερβολή έτσι και αλλιώς μιας και είναι αυτόνομο σύστημα και έχει ενσωματωμένη (επαναφορτιζόμενη) μπαταρία.
Στα θετικά είναι η ακρίβεια τοποθεσίας και η εργονομία του στα αρνητικά είναι ότι υπάρχει μια μικρή χρονική καθυστέρηση στο σύστημα ειδοποιήσης alarm στο κινητό και επίσης το ετήσιο κόστος που για κάποιους μπορεί να είναι αμελητέο (40€ συνδρομή στην δικιά του SIM ανά έτος).
Τώρα για την μπαταρία δεν έχω σχηματίσει άποψη ακόμα... θα επανέλθω.

Η μπαταρία είναι τούμπανο παιδιά να μην ανησυχείτε.
Μιλάμε θέλει μια πλήρη φόρτωση ή δύο το έτος (φορτίζει γρήγορα) με λίγη χρήση λειτουργίας alarm και stand by κυρίως χρήση.
Quality construction, does its job properly. Of course, I would like continuous location updates even if the machine doesn't move, but you can't have everything, especially with a 160 euro device and 39 euros per year for the SIM.
edit: After about 20-25 days, it showed empty battery a couple of times and a couple of times it showed signal lost (for no reason). I charged it, it took about 15 minutes and it was charged....
2 possibilities: either I got a defective battery... or the device is just living its own life.
edit 2: It was a software issue, with the next updates it was fixed.
PS: Whatever happens, they have excellent support
Ποιοτική κατασκευή κάνει σωστά την δουλειά του, βέβαια θα ήθελα συνεχόμενα location updates ακόμη και αν δεν κουνηθεί η μηχανή αλλά δεν. Μπορείς να τα έχεις όλα δικά σου ειδικά με 160 ευω συσκευή και 39 ευρω χρόνο την sim
edit: μετα απο καμια 20 25 μερες μου πεταξε κανα δυο φορές empty battery και κάνα δυο φορές έβγαλε signal lost (χωρίς λόγο) το φόρτισα εκανε κανα 15 λεπτα και φόρτισε....
2 περιπτώσεις η εφαγα με ελαττωματική μπαταρια..... η ζει τη ζωη του το μηχάνημα

Όταν η μοτοσικλέτα είναι στο δρόμο ανά πεντάλεπτο- σε κατάσταση συναγερμού- θα σου δείξει και την ακριβή θέση και ταχύτητα.
Όταν την έχω σε κανένα υπόγειο γκαράζ δείχνει κατά προσέγγιση αλλά αυτό είναι αναμενόμενο από όλα τα GPS .
Θετικότατο επίσης είναι ότι με 40 ευρώ τον χρόνο ανανεώνεις και την ενσωματωμένη SIM και δεν μπλέκεις με εταιρείες κινητής τηλεφωνίας.

It does not give an accurate location, but it provides immediate updates, on the medium setting where I have it configured.
UPDATE:
After 6 - 7 months it broke, it no longer calls my mobile, the location is stuck on the previous day (!!). After continuous emails with the company alongside the store where I bought it, the company does not accept that it is defective, even though I had previously visited the store, where the salesperson tried for over half an hour to solve the problem and while the store had several customers inside, he had 'put them on hold' and was dealing with me. Needless to say, he couldn't solve it.
The company does not accept it as defective, but the store, to its credit, told me to return it.
In short, TRAGIC after sales, personally I would advise not to bother with this product, because if it breaks, you will be crying over 170 euros, plus the annual subscription for it to call your mobile.

UPDATE:
Μετά από 6 - 7 μήνες χάλασε, δεν με καλεί στο κινητό πλέον, το στίγμα είναι κολλημένο στην προηγούμενη ημέρα ( !! ). Μετά από συνεχόμενα email με την εταιρεία παράλληλα με το κατάστημα που το αγόρασα, η εταιρεία δεν δέχεται ότι είναι ελλαττωματικό, ενώ είχε προηγηθεί επίσκεψη στο κατάστημα, που ο πωλητής προσπαθούσε πάνω από μισή ώρα να επιλύσει το πρόβλημα και ενώ το κατάστημα είχε αρκετούς πελάτες μέσα στον χώρο, τους είχε "γειώσει" και ασχολούταν μαζί μου. Εννοείται πως δεν έβγαλε άκρη.
Η εταιρεία δεν το δέχεται ελλαττωματικό, αλλά το κατάστημα προς τιμήν του, μου είπε να το επιστρέψω.
Κοινώς ΤΡΑΓΙΚΟ after sales, προσωπικά θα συμβούλευα να μην ασχοληθεί κάποιος με το συγκεκριμένο, γιατί αν χαλάσει, θα κλαίει 170 ευρώ, συν την ετήσια συνδρομή για να σε καλεί στο κινητό.

Very easy to install. When the key fob is removed from the bike, the tracker is activated and in case the vehicle is moved, we receive a call on the mobile with a warning. Καθε 5 λεπτα ανανεώνεται το στιγμα της μηχανης στον χαρτη ώστε να μπορείς να την βρεις στην περίπτωση κλοπής. Είμαι αρκετά ευχαριστημένος με την αγορά του.
I don't know if it works 1000% correctly. I've had it for a month and once it sent me a false alarm, for no reason at all. Apart from that, it is trouble-free.
I give it 4* because there is no way to know if it works properly... you just know that it works... and if it sends you a fake alarm, then you wonder even more intensely "if something happens, will it detect it?"
Δεν ξέρω αν λειτουργεί 1000% σωστά. Το έχω ένα μήνα και μια φορά μου έστειλε false συναγερμό, χωρίς λόγο και αιτία. Εκτός από αυτό είναι απροβλημάτιστο.
Του βάζω 4* γιατί δεν έχει ένα τρόπο να καταλάβεις ότι λειτουργεί σωστά...απλά ξες ότι λειτουργεί...κι αν σου στείλει κάνα fake alarm, τότε αναρωτιέσαι πιο έντονα "άραγε αν συμβεί κάτι, θα το καταλάβει;"
Very good and easy to install, value for money for the convenience it gives you. IT IS NOT A TRACKER that shows you where the vehicle is at all times; it is a device that WHEN the vehicle is moved, if the key is not nearby, sends you notifications (call/SMS etc.)

Quite good and very practical since you don't need to look for a SIM card and budget packages, it's plug and play, you download the app, set it up in less than 5 minutes, and it does its job very decently.
It doesn't have live tracking (it updates location every 5 minutes) but in my opinion that's an exaggeration anyway since it's a standalone system and has a built-in (rechargeable) battery.
On the positive side is its location accuracy and ergonomics, on the negative side there is a slight delay in the alarm notification system on the phone and also the annual cost which for some may be negligible (€40 subscription for its own SIM per year).
As for the battery, I haven't formed an opinion yet... I will update.

The battery is awesome guys, don't worry.
We're talking about needing a full charge or two per year (charges quickly) with little use of the alarm function and mainly stand by usage.
Αρκετά καλό και πολύ πρακτικό αφού δεν χρειάζεται να ψάξεις να του βάλεις SIM και budget πακέτα είναι plug and play, κατεβάζεις το app το ρυθμίζεις σε λιγότερο από 5 λεπτά και κάνει την δουλειά του αξιοπρεπέστατα.
Δεν έχει live tracking (κάνει ανανέωση τοποθεσίας ανά 5 λεπτά) αλλά κατά την γνώμη μου είναι υπερβολή έτσι και αλλιώς μιας και είναι αυτόνομο σύστημα και έχει ενσωματωμένη (επαναφορτιζόμενη) μπαταρία.
Στα θετικά είναι η ακρίβεια τοποθεσίας και η εργονομία του στα αρνητικά είναι ότι υπάρχει μια μικρή χρονική καθυστέρηση στο σύστημα ειδοποιήσης alarm στο κινητό και επίσης το ετήσιο κόστος που για κάποιους μπορεί να είναι αμελητέο (40€ συνδρομή στην δικιά του SIM ανά έτος).
Τώρα για την μπαταρία δεν έχω σχηματίσει άποψη ακόμα... θα επανέλθω.

Η μπαταρία είναι τούμπανο παιδιά να μην ανησυχείτε.
Μιλάμε θέλει μια πλήρη φόρτωση ή δύο το έτος (φορτίζει γρήγορα) με λίγη χρήση λειτουργίας alarm και stand by κυρίως χρήση.
Quality construction, does its job properly. Of course, I would like continuous location updates even if the machine doesn't move, but you can't have everything, especially with a 160 euro device and 39 euros per year for the SIM.
edit: After about 20-25 days, it showed empty battery a couple of times and a couple of times it showed signal lost (for no reason). I charged it, it took about 15 minutes and it was charged....
2 possibilities: either I got a defective battery... or the device is just living its own life.
edit 2: It was a software issue, with the next updates it was fixed.
PS: Whatever happens, they have excellent support
Ποιοτική κατασκευή κάνει σωστά την δουλειά του, βέβαια θα ήθελα συνεχόμενα location updates ακόμη και αν δεν κουνηθεί η μηχανή αλλά δεν. Μπορείς να τα έχεις όλα δικά σου ειδικά με 160 ευω συσκευή και 39 ευρω χρόνο την sim
edit: μετα απο καμια 20 25 μερες μου πεταξε κανα δυο φορές empty battery και κάνα δυο φορές έβγαλε signal lost (χωρίς λόγο) το φόρτισα εκανε κανα 15 λεπτα και φόρτισε....
2 περιπτώσεις η εφαγα με ελαττωματική μπαταρια..... η ζει τη ζωη του το μηχάνημα
