ATX 3.1 & PCIe 5.1 Standards for the Future

Designed to meet the demands of tomorrow, the PN850M fully supports ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. It has the capability to deliver up to twice the system's total power for 0.1 ms, ensuring that sudden power spikes will never be an issue. This stability makes it ideal for both classic builds and next-generation PCs, offering consistency that will last for many years.

Exclusive 12V-2x6 High-Quality Cable

The power supply is equipped with a high-quality 12V-2x6 cable, made with a 16AWG copper core and resistance to temperatures up to 105C. It can deliver up to 450W of power directly to modern GPUs, eliminating the need for multiple adapters. Additionally, DeepCool includes sleeved cables straight out of the box, offering a premium look and easy cable management inside your PC case.

Certified 80 Plus Gold Efficiency

With 80 Plus Gold certification and a Gold rating from Cybenetics, the PN850M guarantees energy efficiency reaching 90% under typical loads. The use of a main Japanese electrolytic capacitor, full-bridge SRC LLC, and DC-to-DC topology ensures that the hold-up time remains ≥ 16 ms under 80% load. This advanced architecture translates to less energy waste, lower temperatures, and absolute reliability for your hardware.

Silent Cooling with Dynamic FDB Fan

To maintain optimal temperatures, the PN850M uses a dynamic 120mm FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) fan. The fan automatically adjusts its speed based on the cooling needs of the unit, operating quietly during light workloads and increasing performance when the system is under stress. The quality of the components allows the power supply to operate smoothly even at altitudes up to 5000 meters, demonstrating its high-quality construction.

Comprehensive Protection and Security

The DeepCool PN850M offers complete peace of mind thanks to a full suite of industrial protections. It includes OPP, OVP, SCP, OTP, OCP, UVP, NLO, and SIP, shielding the system from overvoltages, short circuits, overheating, and other electrical anomalies. These safety features protect not only the power supply but also all the valuable components of your computer, ensuring their longevity under any operating conditions.

Designed for High-Power Components

With 5 EPS/PCIe ports and robust power delivery, the PN850M is the ideal "worker" for modern gaming rigs and workstations. Its ability to consistently manage power to demanding components makes it a value-for-money investment for those building a new system. The combination of the sleek black appearance with braided cables and DeepCool's future-proof technology offers a complete package that stands out in the PSU market.

This review is about the power: 1000 W

There will always be the masses, and there’s nothing you can do about it. Everyone—or almost EVERYONE—will look at the most positive reviews and go for the safest option (Corsair, MSI, Thermaltake, etc. Unfortunately, there are also the influencers...)

Most power supplies these days offer almost similar performance, as long as they’re Gold-rated or higher, for an average user. A year ago, the price of the 1000W Deepcool PN was €115, while other more well-known brands cost the same for 850W models, such as the Corsair RMe. Of course, 1000W, better value, Gold-rated, with a 135mm fan, among the quietest, with most of the safety protocols and a sleek design made with quality materials—it was an incredibly easy choice.

Quite a few people below made the mistake of going for 750W or 850W, when we’re talking about a difference of €5–15, since the 1000W model has a 135mm fan while the others have 120mm ones. It’s more efficient, quieter, has LESS coil whine—which, in my case, is nonexistent—and means the power supply will never be under strain, whether for high-end systems or future upgrades, since it comes with a 7- to 10-year warranty.

The cables are very thin for easy cable management and a sleek-looking system. There’s a port and cable for directly connecting NVIDIA GPUs, without the hideous triple cable that comes with the graphics card, since it’s ATX 3.1. And of course, it has the usual SATA, PCIe connectors, etc.

In the end, from what I can see, prices in general have dropped quite a bit today compared to a year ago, with excessive competition and lower prices across many models.

  • This review is about the power: 750 W

Quality power supply, I just built my first computer with it, everything seems fine. It makes a clicking sound when I turn off the system, but I looked it up and it's normal. All the cables seem to be fine except for the graphics card ones, which need a cable sleeve or something like that to look nice. (Do not use cables from other power supplies! It can cause damage to the system due to incompatibility!)
