The new version of the Mic 2 features updated transmitter units with 2.4 GHz digital wireless technology and Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth allows you to connect the transmitters to the DJI Mimo app via an iOS or Android device. You can even connect directly to the Osmo Pocket 3 or Osmo Action 4 camera. Switch between different settings through the Mimo app, such as smart noise cancellation, which reduces ambient noise for improved voice capture, or 32-bit float recording.

If you want to use the DJI Mic 2 with a smartphone, simply place the Lightning or USB-C adapter into the expansion port at the bottom of the receiver and connect it to your phone to start recording. These adapters support stereo audio playback without needing to disconnect the receiver. Use the 3.5 mm TRS cable to connect the camera's 3.5 mm microphone jack to the receiver's 3.5 mm audio output jack and start video recording on your camera. The 3.5 mm adapter supports automatic on/off synchronization with your camera's power status.
