DO NOT BUY! I bought it from a well-known chain of stores for 8€ and I really felt like I gave it to them for free. It has a metal construction, but the disc moves too much, resulting in extreme disconnections. I lost a lot of files because of it. Avoid it. There are cases near this price range that will do the job perfectly (prefer ugreen). If I could give it 0 ⭐, I would.

VFM. Its function is PVR on a TV where it immediately recognized the disk. The package includes everything you see.
EDIT: I noticed a slight noise in absolute silence due to the TV being in a bedroom, so I installed an HDD bracket where the hard drive fit perfectly inside the box and now it's okay.

The worst thing about this case. I bought it as a cheap solution. I installed an HDD inside and soon I started to think that the hard drive was broken and ruined... but it wasn't the hard drive's fault, it was the case. I put it in a slightly more expensive one and it worked perfectly... We're talking about wasted money here. Also, the screws are so small that you think they will either come off or get swallowed... Stay away from it and spend a little more to get a serious case...

Quite a decent case for its price.

There are two points I would like to mention:

1) In order to properly connect it without any issues in disk recognition by the computer, it is best to first connect the USB with one cable (which provides power), and then the other with the two cables.

2) The screws fit very well, but the screwdriver included in the package made my life difficult, so I used my own, which worked perfectly fine.

Other than that, it is a metallic and beautiful case with easy installation, at a very good price.

Maybe I was unlucky to come across a faulty piece, but here is my experience:
During data reading or transfer, it stops working for a few seconds and then starts again. I noticed that this happens whether I'm copying files or doing a surface scan on the disk. It was a deal-breaker for me because it would freeze for a few seconds when I was playing movies from the disk. I checked that it was the enclosure's fault and not the disk or buffering settings in Windows, because I took out the disk and put it in another external 2.5 enclosure with the same cable and it worked fine.
Other than that, it seems good for its price, you just need to fold a cardboard card on the back of the hard drive when you slide it into the enclosure to prevent it from moving or banging inside.

The only thing I didn't like is that it requires the installation of some kind of insulation (I used double-sided tape) to prevent the disc from moving inside the box. I easily placed the disc inside and used only 2 screws. The package includes a small screwdriver, 5 screws (only 2 were needed), a leather carrying case, and a 50 cm long cable.

Very good. The case is not plastic but metallic and fits the disk perfectly. Inside the purchase box, it included the connection cable which is in the shape of a Y (upsilon), that is, like a split: a small USB that connects to the disk and two regular USBs that connect to the computer. Now you will tell me why two - because the voltage of the current may not always be sufficient when connected only with one USB, while this problem does not exist when both regular USBs are connected because the disk replenishes the voltage that may be missing. For example, in my case, because I have a laptop, the voltage is not sufficient and so I use both USBs and it runs normally.

Also included in the box are a set of screws, a small screwdriver, and a case like leather.

For this money, we cannot ask for more.

I don't know if there is a more complete enclosure for the money to revive older drives. It even includes a screwdriver to screw in the small screws it comes with. It also has a carrying case! The installation is very easy. I put in a Seagate 320gb from an older laptop and gave it new life. No complaints about the product.

No complaint about this specific product! I inserted a WD 160gb inside and it works perfectly!
The USB cable they provide has 2 connectors for extra power, if one is not sufficient. No external power supply is needed other than USB.
Very good weight and immediate recognition by computers, without the need for drivers.
Definitely a very good affordable solution for simple use!
