Rhetoric is an "art" that has been cultivated from ancient times to the present primarily in the field of political discourse. But how can rhetoric serve us in analyzing texts or works of art beyond the usual political speeches? In this collection of studies, an attempt is made to apply the methodology of rhetorical analysis along with the assistance of semiotics in relation to texts or virtual artworks that cover a selective range of topics (...).
The ultimate goal of the project is to enable one to search for the "thread of interpretation" in cultural artworks in a user-friendly way through the use of rhetoric and semiotic approaches.
