The JJC LS series lens hood is designed for use with built-in or interchangeable DSLR lenses that feature specific filter threads. It is optimized to provide coverage for lenses with wide-angle or telephoto capabilities. Lens hoods are primarily intended to prevent unwanted light from entering the lens, extending and shading the lens's edge. Additionally, as the lens edge extends, it offers extra protection from accidental bumps.
