The NeoTEC ILM Fixer is a contact frame for LGA 1700 (14th generation), made of anodized aluminum with CNC machining. The bottom side is covered with rubber to protect the motherboard. The package includes a key for removing the Intel ILM mechanism. The frame is designed to replace the dual ILM mechanism with a one-piece frame and to provide uniform pressure on the processor.

Installation is as follows: Unlock the Intel ILM latch to the "open" position without removing the processor from the LGA socket. Using the supplied NeoTEC screwdriver, unscrew the four ILM screws on the motherboard. Remove the Intel ILM mechanism, keeping the backplate in place, and keep the screws. Place the NeoTEC Frame Fixer (LGA BCF) over the CPU socket, aligning the arrows. Insert the original ILM screws into the corresponding holes in the frame. Turn each screw counterclockwise until a click is heard, then clockwise by 90°. Repeat for all four screws. Tighten the screws by 90° until secure. When you feel the resistance of the rubber, do not tighten further.
