Mercola Double Boiled Linseed Oil is an impregnating oil that undergoes a special double-boiling process, allowing it to dry faster and provide greater durability than raw linseed oil. It penetrates deep into the wood and replenishes the natural oils lost over time, leaving a satin finish with a natural sheen and a hard surface. Its flexibility allows it to move with the wood as it contracts and expands without peeling, blistering or cracking.
Suitable for all types of wood except oak. It can also be used as a traditional sealer on terracotta tiles and other porous surfaces before applying wax.
