Great little rice-cooker. Adler is a German brand and it feels very sturdy. Using one full cup (provided inside box) with 1 1/4 water for some Jasmine rice (Thai) which I purchased from Lidl.
It took just under 19 mins to cook a nice fluffy rice. Upon weighing it made about 230-240g of cooked rice from 1 small measuring cup.
So 2 cups would easily satisfy 2-3 people!
Don't hesitate, if you are tired of boiling rice over the cooker / hotplate or find the microwave pouches a little too pricey, then this is for you :)
1) It never stops by itself from the COOK function to Warm, so if you forget it, it could catch fire. 2) It is slow 3) The rice sticks to the bottom 4) The ratio is by no means 1-1 / 1-1.5, it is at least 1-2.2+.

Excellent, even when it's packed with rice it cooks everything! The reason the rice sticks is because it needs to be rinsed first to remove the excess starch (at least rinse it once) - it has stuck for me only a few times!
εξαιρετικό, ακόμα και τίγκα με ρύζι το μαγειρεύει όλο! ο λόγος που κολλάει το ρύζι είναι επειδή θέλει ξέπλυμα πρώτα να φύγει το πολύ άμυλο (μινιμουμ μια φορά ξέπλυμα) - μου έχει κολλήσει ελάχιστες φορές!
It makes very nice rice and definitely uses less energy than the stove. The downside is that it almost always sticks to the bottom.
Update after 20 uses:
The rice keeps sticking even if you add more water than it says. This is a big negative because the rice sticks to the inner pot, which has a non-stick coating, and this is very unhealthy.

Κολλάει συνέχεια το ρύζι ακόμα και αν βάλεις περισσότερο νερό από αυτό που λέει. Αυτό είναι μεγάλο αρνητικό καθώς τον κολάει το ρύζι στην κατσαρολίτσα που έχει μέσα η οποία εχει αντικολλητικη στρώση είναι πάρα πολύ ανθυγιεινό.
I don't know if it's because I don't use a very large amount, but personally it never turns off automatically for me. Other than that, it's a very decent device, it just takes quite a while. The only reason I accept it is that you save a lot of electricity since it consumes very little.
