The Thoth Tarot Deck was painted by the artist Frieda Lady Harris under the guidance of the famous mystic Aleister Crowley. Although Lady Harris knew very little about Tarot and its symbolic language, she conveyed all the details in her paintings with great sensitivity. Many cards were painted in several versions before finally receiving Crowley's approval. For this new edition, revisions and minor adjustments were made to the image data to better reproduce the fidelity of the original paintings. Furthermore, the names of the cards (in some language editions) were corrected, and the booklet - featuring Aleister Crowley's original interpretive texts - was revised and expanded.
