Rutile Electrode ER 150 3.25mm 5.0kg

Rutile acid-coated electrode for welding structures made of low carbon steels and fine-grained steels subject to static and dynamic loads during operation.

The coating of rutile acid electrodes combines the advantages of both types of matrix:

  • Easy arc ignition
  • Low spatter typical of rutile electrodes
  • Higher impact resistance typical of acid-coated electrodes

The EA marking indicates domestic production at the former Baildon Steelworks.

Welding positions: PA, PB, PC, PD, PE, PF.

Welding current and polarity: alternating or direct current of any polarity.

Drying: 100-120 oC/1h.

Typical composition of welding metal: C - 0.07Mn - 0.4Si - 0.06.
