The De Buyer Mineral B Country deep sauté pan has high sides for sautéing and simmering, as well as for preparing large quantities and sautéed potatoes. Made from 2.5 mm thick steel, it has a natural beeswax coating that protects against oxidation and makes preparation before first use easier. With regular use and seasoning, it develops natural non-stick properties and helps caramelize food.

The curved, French-style handle is made of steel and attached with rivets. The pan needs to be seasoned before first use. To care for it, rinse with lukewarm water, dry immediately and lightly coat with oil; do not use detergents or wash it in the dishwasher. It may darken unevenly during use as its natural non-stick properties develop.
