With the era of Layers now making its presence felt and becoming the new order of things, the leading Dutch company Rev’IT! upgrades the highly successful Tornado 3 and presents us with the brand new Tornado 4 H2O version.

The biggest differentiation now comes in the linings. Thus, the 2-in-1 lining that existed in the Tornado 3 has been replaced by two different removable linings, one thermal and one waterproof, which can also be worn independently outside the jacket. The thermal lining allows us to save space in our luggage as it saves us from having to carry an extra jacket or a thin coat on our trips.

The waterproof hydratex|3L lining can also be worn over the outer shell, making it 100% waterproof in extreme weather conditions. The large ventilation panels throughout the front of the jacket, on the arms, and on the back will allow direct airflow to the body, enabling us to continue riding even on the hot days of summer.

For our safety, we have nothing to fear as the jacket is made with high-quality materials of maximum abrasion resistance and features SEEFLEX protectors on shoulders and elbows with CE-level 2 safety rating. In the back and chest area, there are special pockets to optionally place (at extra cost) the Rev’IT! SEESOFT protectors with CE-level 1 safety rating.

    The jacket was purchased at the beginning of summer and until the end of summer, without the liners, it was excellent with sufficient ventilation and a sense of safety. A big downside is the clips that (do not) hold the liners at all when putting them in and taking them out. Major mistake by the company, I do not recommend it!

    I bought this jacket in early September when the weather was quite warm. The jacket's performance in this weather without thermal lining and waterproofing is quite pleasant as it is breathable and not tiring during long rides. I use it both in the city and on long trips. Now that the weather has cooled down, in the mornings when I go to work and it's 4 degrees outside, I wear the jacket along with a shirt and a short-sleeve shirt, and I am very satisfied. I happened to go on a trip where it was 1 degree, and it was still amazing. I am 184cm, 94 kg, and I took size L, but it would have been better if I had taken XL. Now I usually wear a thermal shirt, a short-sleeve shirt, and the jacket, and I am warm. It has pleasantly surprised me, and now I have also purchased the pants. At its price, it has level 2 protections on the shoulders and elbows without having one on the back, which you can buy extra. I hope I helped

    Bought just a few days ago, I used the jacket in Athens and on a small trip (national/mountain), in July, with really hot days. So, after about a week, I have been satisfied with my purchase, as I was impressed by Revit's implementation in the four seasons aspect. The removable double inner lining (which can be worn as a fleece jacket) results in not feeling the jacket on you despite the 35 degrees outside, while the materials of the linings make it clear that I won't be cold in winter. The lining/jacket can be worn separately, but not for riding, as it does not have any integrated protection. Upon my purchase, I also bought the level 2 back protection, which is not included with the jacket. This, combined with the level 2 shoulder and elbow protection, I believe is the best I could offer myself without exceeding my budget, spending a total of 350€. It is important to note here that the corresponding implementations in Alpinestars and Dainese cost about 200€-250€ more. The external fabric seems okay, but it could definitely be of slightly better quality, without compromising the overall quality of the garment. I hope I won't have to see how it will respond to a fall, but nonetheless, it gives me a sense of security while also feeling like I have bought 2 jackets and a fleece with my money.
