Nylon thread lawnmowers have a string-like thread at the head and are ideal for cutting grass and weeds. The thread can often be cut during use (collision with the ground/stones) but can be replaced. 3. Disc lawnmowers are suitable for more demanding tasks (coarse grass, bushes, and small branches). It is not suitable for short grass as any collision with the ground/stones will wear out the disc.
