Place a layer of charcoal on your grill and position the heating element on top. Make sure the device's handle is outside of your grill. Create a pyramid of charcoal over the heating element to cover its entire surface. Connect the device's plug to an outlet. After about 10 minutes, the charcoal is ready. Remove the heating element and spread the charcoal on your grill.
