It is a book that prepares you steadily and very well for the B1. Also, I would say that in terms of difficulty (only vocabulary-wise) it is a 7/10, and that's because those who have covered the B1 topics have done so with very easy books like Motive, so obviously they will understand almost nothing.

Also, if a student at B1 level does not have pronunciation, they will never understand the listening exercises from the middle of A2 onwards. If the topics have been covered with books like Netzwerk, for example, this book is ridiculous. In summary, have you covered the B1 topics well? The book will be easy for you.

I take 2 private German lessons a week for about 1 year. My main textbook is Motive and I got it when I was in chapter 22 (out of 30). I got it to prepare for the exams after the teacher's suggestion. After the first chapter, I left it and continued with another. I found it infuriatingly difficult. 5/10 words were unknown to me (even though I read a lot of vocabulary). Also, the listening exercises are incredibly difficult as if you are listening to another language.

I will try to start it again, as soon as I prepare better with the other book, and I will return with a new review.
