GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
SurfaPore R is a liquid product based on water that contains nanoparticles with three different functional areas:
- (a) the core of the nanoparticle, small enough to penetrate the pores of ceramic materials,
- (b) the hydrophobic area, which effectively repels water,
- (c) the anchoring surface, which causes the chemical "anchoring" of the nanoparticle to the ceramic material.
Their surface is "dressed" hydrophobically while continuing to breathe. The nanoparticles chemically bond to the surface of the pores, preventing water penetration, frost cracks, the development of "blackness," moss, lichens, and the formation of salts.
APPLICATION SURFACES
Tiles, ceramic items, cotto-type tiles.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Coating: It is recommended that the application surface be clean and dry. Using a brush, roller, or sprayer, cover with SurfaPore R, without dilution. On particularly absorbent surfaces, applying a second "coat" within 3 hours of the first application is recommended.
- Immersion: Immerse the ceramic material in SurfaPore R for 30 seconds. Waterproofing is fully achieved 24 hours after application.
- Coverage: 9-11 m²/L, depending on the absorbency of the application surface.
