Description & Specifications

Boston Pro is a timeless classic model that is easy to wear all year round. Thanks to its dual construction, the sole offers stability and comfort. It consists of a polyurethane (PU) midsole and a non-slip, dynamic, and lightweight polyurethane (TPU) outsole, which can also be repaired. Thus, the clog is ideal for daily use in kitchens and restaurants. 

The upper is made of high-quality, particularly soft natural leather with a polyurethane (PU) coating. This coating makes the material breathable and helps regulate the microclimate inside the shoe. All Boston Pro models have been tested according to the EN ISO 20347:2022 standard.

  • Anatomically shaped cork and latex footbed
  • Upper: Natural leather with PU coating
  • Footbed lining: Suede 
  • Sole: Polyurethane midsole with a non-slip, oil and fat resistant, lightweight polyurethane (TPU) outsole
  • One strap with a metal buckle adjustable separately, dual construction sole made of PU and TPU
  • Tested according to EN ISO 20347:2022

Material characteristics:

  • Upper material: Natural leather. The natural leather used is mainly smooth leather and in some cases tumbled leather. It features special characteristics such as breathability, adaptation to the shape of the foot, and durability.
  • Inner sole: Natural leather. Natural leather is recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK does not intentionally process the natural "marks" and characteristics of the material. It uses durable leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.
  • Footbed material: Cork. Cork is a sustainable material derived from the bark of the cork oak tree. It is a natural product with insulating properties that offers excellent shock absorption.
