Very good construction of the PC2525. More compact and lighter than the Nakayama PC3530.
It is powerful and has nerve. Its noise is a bit more intense than its predecessor, the PC3530.
It has a narrow carving blade with bearings and a chain thickness of 1.1mm.

The differences compared to the PC3530 are that to reduce the overall weight:
It has smaller fuel and chain oil tanks.
It has a thinner clutch.
None of the above is negative.

In terms of improvements:
It has better ergonomics in the angle of the handle and does not hurt the wrist and forearm after a long time of work, more stable grip.
It does not have a choke (which I removed from the PC3530) under the filter.
It only has the two screws for the blade and all other covers are snap-on, making access to the filter and spark plug easier.
Also, it does not come off with the side cover and the entire system with the brake handle.
It has a switch for the off function right on the handle (not double) for more immediate stopping in any situation, and additionally, it has a spring and is always in the on position, which means you will never pull the starter with closed currents and clog it.

It needs adjustment; at least my carburetor needed adjustment, it had a high idle, raised low, and lowered high, which made me think it had no power during the first cuts, even though it had nerve, the sound was like a rattle. After 4 tanks and adjusting the carburetor, the machine is dynamite. Smooth, without vibrations, instant, and torquey. With a very nice crisp sound. The carburetor has classic L and H screws for a screwdriver, unlike the PC3530 which requires special screwdrivers (for anyone who knows how to adjust them; those who don't know should not touch them and should consult someone with experience to avoid damaging the machine or later saying it won't start at all and stalls).
It has better filling caps on the tanks, unscrewing more easily by hand.
Simpler filter that snaps on rotationally.
The screw for the oil flow has been placed on top, double on the trigger, so you don't need to turn it upside down to adjust it.

For basic instructions for first start, break-in, etc., see my review on the Nakayama PC3530; it is the same.

It is VFM!!! Perfect for estate maintenance, firewood cutting, and tree pruning.

If someone wants it for logging, I would say the PC3530 is better due to its thicker 1.3mm chain and weight.

A few days ago I received it, it worked for two minutes, then it turned off and never started again. I took it to the repairman, I'm waiting for an answer. Maybe it just happened to me, I don't know, but the other two Chinese ones I had, I used them a lot!!!

  • I removed the air filter for cleaning and noticed that quite a bit of dust had gotten into the intake. Of course, if I wanted it for heavy use, I would have gone for a branded one without a second thought. For the money, let’s say it does well.

    Purchased at €110.
The first time it gave me quite a bit of trouble to start, but afterwards it starts with at most three pulls.
You need to give it full throttle while pulling the cord and it starts immediately.
During the first two tanks, it had high consumption, but after that the engine settled.
Very powerful, very light; time will tell about its durability.
For its price, a very nice machine

I have used the chainsaw so far for 5 tanks... During this time, I tried not to push it, so that the springs and piston inside the cylinder would break in properly... To start with, the 1/4 chain has not satisfied me. It cuts slower than the 3/8lp... Maybe later I will try to put a clutch drum for 3/8... It is light, with fuel, oil, and bar it reaches 3.1 which does not tire the hand... I don't like the carburetor settings, not that it has a high idle but I will adjust them once I reach 10 tanks of use so I can be sure that now it can work at full capacity

For its price, it is perfect. I used it for olive harvesting along with more expensive machines of the same category and it had nothing to envy. I would like a bit better build quality on the brake because it is a combination of plastic and metal material and it is not very good. Other than that, I would buy it again without a second thought.

With €100 you get a tool that will serve you for amateur use.
It starts a bit hard, high idle that you will adjust along the way.
It looks fake, 3.116 kg its weight full of gasoline and oil, but it gets wild as soon as you rev it, it pleasantly surprised me. After pruning the olive trees, I have to say you need to be careful with the mixing oil (I put extra due to break-in)! If you overdo it, it chokes.
I had difficulty starting it, it does not have easy start, after burning the spark plug with a lighter and struggling for an hour I managed to get it going

I've been trying all day to start it for the first time, but nothing, it got on my nerves, I'll have to take it to a technician to have it adjusted for me, unbelievable!☹️ When I use it, I'll come back with an update.

I'm coming back and if I exclude the above difficulty, which was overcome after a technician adjusted it, the tool works perfectly and you can easily get the job done even on large trees.

It was bought as a gift for an uncle in the village, to cut some wood in the winter for the stove.
The only reason I bought it is because I saw the Easy Start.

No, it does not start easily. The Stihl starts easily, which doesn't even require strength.
This one I had to pull about ten times, and when I returned it, he was surprised and told me it couldn't be because he had used it, etc. He pulled, pulled again, nothing. He starts it, lets it warm up a bit, turns it off, and then pulls again to get it started.

From what little I saw, it had nothing wrong, it's just not good and certainly not the perfect product some of you present it as.
For its price, it's fine and nothing more.

4 stars only because it takes a while to start the first time... Also, mine was working so much at idle that it was spinning the chain.. It definitely needs adjustment and also to adjust the amount of oil it throws on the chain.. Mine was throwing a lot of oil...

I pruned 400 olive trees... All good and hassle-free
    Pros:
Power, very lightweight and easy to use
    Cons:
It might burn a bit more fuel, and the side handle doesn't seem that "sturdy" (it wobbles a bit)
    Neutrals:
It takes exactly 3 pulls to "start" and makes a little more noise than the other Echo pruner I have...(competitor)
    Attention***
A black rectangular plastic piece with a "track" that you will find where the blade goes does not play any role. You should not put it in with the blade. It works WITHOUT this!!!
    Notes****
    1) BEFORE the first use, fill the tanks with oil and mix (ratio of 4 lt gasoline/100+ ml mixing oil) and let it run until it burns it all...to start lubricating the chain.
    2) The idle needs adjustment after some cuts - with the screwdriver you adjust the side screw on the.... back large black cover
The product is definitely Vfm... I recommend it (purchase 119€ - 1/3/25)

I got it mainly for pruning olive trees, secondarily for fruit trees and ornamental trees. So far, in the ten days that I have had it, it works flawlessly, effortlessly, and efficiently. There was no need for a spark plug change or readjustment. Just the use of very good quality mixing oil and chain oil. For its price, it is definitely worth the purchase. The only negative for me is the design for the two nuts on the chain cover as well as the way the filter cover closes (clip)

It is wonderful. Powerful and lightweight. Economical and in consumption. Its noise is a bit more pronounced than a similar model of 300+ euro that I have compared it to. I won't say it's better, but I am 100% sure that it is a value for money purchase. Especially at the 100 euro I found it for. I might even get a 2nd one as a backup

I will give it 5 stars, it cuts very well, we mainly use it on cherry trees but it also easily cuts the dry ones, I found it for 108 euros and got it "for free" because for such a tool from other companies you have to pay 200 euros and up, it also has a 2-year warranty plus a free chain... it is lightweight and comfortable, if you want you can put a better spark plug, that's all.

  • I removed the air filter for cleaning and noticed that quite a bit of dust had gotten into the intake. Of course, if I wanted it for heavy use, I would have gone for a branded one without a second thought. For the money, let’s say it does well.

  • Purchased at €110.

  • I have used the chainsaw so far for 5 tanks...

  • For its price, it is perfect. I used it for olive harvesting along with more expensive machines of the same category and it had nothing to envy. I would like a bit better build quality on the brake because it is a combination of plastic and metal material and it is not very good. Other than that, I would buy it again without a second thought.

  • With €100 you get a tool that will serve you for amateur use.
