Description & Specifications

Bioclima ClimaTop® Classic mortar additive is an organic render for interior and exterior use on masonry. It contains natural aggregates with a graded particle size, polypropylene fibres, performance-enhancing additives, and lightweight microspheres made from 100% recycled expanded glass using Recycled Glass Technology. These components improve the mortar’s workability, final finish and mechanical strength.

It is applied as a finishing render in BIOCLIMA®’s certified CLIMAWALL® external wall insulation system. No water needs to be added. Mix before use with a low-speed power drill.

  • Consumption: 1.6–3.7 kg/m²
  • Application methods: Metal trowel or spray gun for viscous materials
  • Surface drying time: 1–2 hours at 25°C and 50% relative humidity
  • Recoat time: At least 24 hours at 25°C and 50% relative humidity
  • Full drying time: 14 days at 25°C and 50% relative humidity
  • Application temperature: From 5°C to 35°C
  • Maximum application relative humidity: 65%
