In 1945, Angelo Molinari, a famous winemaker and distiller, created a product that is today the most famous Sambuca in the world. Sambuca Molinari is made only from quality raw materials, such as spices, herbs, sugar, and alcohol, which are superior to those commonly used in other Sambucas. The word Extra refers to the superior quality characteristics of its ingredients, a title whose value is protected by Italian law.
