The Erko KG_MKG-15-400 industrial-type sensor is integrated into a low-voltage three-phase MKG-type capacitor with a cylindrical housing and nitrogen (N2) insulation. The temperature sensor with a normally closed (NC) contact opens at +60 °C, providing additional protection for the capacitor and capacitor bank when the ambient temperature rises excessively.

The capacitor features dual overpressure protection, which disconnects the electrical connection at the end of its service life, preventing the housing from rupturing. The windings are made of double-metallized polypropylene film with aluminum and zinc. Its technology provides self-healing properties for the dielectric and very low active power losses.
