The DG-1 ME is a gas (methane) detector based on a microprocessor. It is recommended to install it in areas exposed to gas leaks, such as near heating appliances, stoves, or in boiler rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms, as well as around gas connections and meters.

The device should be installed high, under the ceiling of the monitored room, as methane is lighter than air. The digital detection algorithm and the temperature compensation algorithm ensure proper operation over a wide temperature range and high resistance to false alarms.

The detector detects exceedance of the dangerous concentration of methane - the limit of 20% and activates an alarm at 10% for pre-alarm. Thanks to the built-in buzzer and yellow LED, it can function as a standalone detection and signaling device, or work in conjunction with the alarm system.

The self-diagnosis function continuously monitors the power supply voltage and the proper operation of the gas sensor, ensuring reliable operation. It includes:
