The Wiha Volt Detector EX 44309 allows for proactive checking if there is voltage in the socket, through visual and acoustic signals. When activated, the green LED remains lit, indicating that the device is working. During voltage testing, the LED lights emit colors ranging from blue (weak), orange to red (strong), depending on the intensity of the electric field. If the device is not used for 4 minutes, it automatically turns off to save energy.

The integrated LED flashlight allows for lighting measurement in dark environments and can also be used as a flashlight through manual on and off activation. The voltage detector with clip fits comfortably in the shirt or pants pocket.

The Volt Detector EX is suitable for detecting and locating live cables, interruptions or faults in wires, blown fuses, burnt bulbs in light chains as well as for detecting single conductors. Thanks to the international measuring head, the voltage detector is suitable for all types of sockets worldwide. Two AAA batteries are required for its operation, which are included in the delivery.
