The Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S camera lens is a prime telephoto lens compatible with Nikon Z mount and Full Frame sensors. It has a built-in 1.4x teleconverter, which increases the focal length to 560 mm and changes the maximum aperture to f/4. The f/2.8 aperture supports low-light photography and depth-of-field control, while the ED, Super ED, fluorite and SR elements help reduce chromatic aberrations and deliver accurate colors.

The Meso Amorphous Coat works with ARNEO and Nano Crystal Coat to minimize reflections, ghosting and flare. Focusing is driven by a Silky Swift VCM motor, and the lens supports manual focus override and internal focusing. It features VR image stabilization with up to 5.5 stops of compensation, and supports Synchro VR with compatible cameras.
