High transparency and chemical resistance. The PETG Spectrum Premium filament is a material based on poly(ethylene terephthalate) and is subjected to the glycole process. The items made with this material are characterized by a high share of the crystalline phase, which allows for achieving a result close to transparency with a small number of external outlines of items made with additive manufacturing.
A very significant advantage of PETG is the essentially zero shrinkage coefficient and low moisture absorption compared to other thermoplastics used in FDM/FFF 3D printing. This is possible thanks to the bond between the layers of the applied material, resulting in much lower anisotropy of the mechanical properties in the manufactured items.
- Material: PETG
- Filament diameter: 1.75 mm
- Color: Transparent
- Minimum printing temperature: 230°C
Items made from PETG maintain stable properties for a long period of time.
Packaging: The filament is wound on a transparent designer spool, which contains information about the type of material, diameter, and recommended printing temperature. Each spool is vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber. Paper manual included inside. All in the original Spectrum Filaments box wrapped in foil.
