The iUni IP27 Mini combines a digital desk clock with a hidden camera, whose lens is integrated into the device’s design. Using 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and the LookCam app, it allows live viewing from a mobile phone or tablet, as well as playback of recordings. Recording resolution on the memory card is 1920 × 1080P or 640 × 360P, and files are in AVI format and include the date and time.
The camera has 8 infrared LEDs for recording in low-light conditions, which do not emit light during operation. It can record while charging via USB, while the rechargeable 2600 mAh battery provides approximately 7 hours of operation. The loop recording function overwrites the oldest file when the card is full.
