Class A headphone amplifier with 24 bit USB 384K DAC. The Woo Audio WA7 "Fireflies" is a high-performance headphone amplifier with a built-in USB DAC converter. It is exclusively designed with tubes, using 6C45 tubes in Class A, following a single-ended topology and with outputs connected via transformers. No semiconductors have been used throughout the amplification path.

The D/A converter is designed to support sampling rates up to 24-bit / 384k, ensuring the pure integrity of the data transferred through the fast USB 2.0 interface operating in asynchronous mode.

Build quality: High-quality structural components include a pair of output transformers with nickel core, aluminum casing with no visible screws from any angle, remotely controlled linear external power supply for circuit enhancement, specially customized toroidal power transformer, and multi-layer military-grade PCB.

The dedicated headphone port offers full volume control, providing minimal noise. Despite its extremely small size, the "Fireflies" can power almost any demanding audiophile headphones. It can also be used as a standalone D-A converter.
