    Quality construction, their crystals are impeccable, the rubber texture they have is excellent, they do not slip from the hands. Their weight (about 1kg) is not prohibitive for the hands, however, for prolonged observation, a tripod or monopod is a must. The x12 magnification brings everything in front of your eyes, but on the other hand, if you don't have steady hands, you will see everything shaking (hence tripod/monopod = must). I consider that their size and weight allow for their transportation in a backpack (e.g. for hiking). Excellent choice for stargazing!
