The parking system is activated with reverse gear and indicates the distance from obstacles via a display and an acoustic signal. The parking assistant is equipped with four ultrasonic sensors that are installed on the rear bumper.

The control unit evaluates the distance from the obstacle, with the sensors positioned so that only their outer edge protrudes. The BENE 414 informs about the presence of an obstacle through visual and acoustic signaling, with the acoustic signal becoming more intense as the obstacle approaches.
