Very practical pole for reaching high branches without a ladder. The construction is good for its price and the locking of the sections holds firmly without "wobbling." The weight is reasonable, so you can work for quite a while without getting overly tired.
It fits properly with pruning shears that support a pole and does its job on olive trees, lemon trees, and generally medium-thickness branches. It is not for very heavy professional use, but for a home garden it is just fine.

    Positives:
Stable locking and good feel in the hand,
    Lightweight for its size,
    Easily reaches high branches,
    Good quality for the price,

    Negatives:
Not for very thick or hard branches, obviously due to the tool it accepts,
Needs a bit of care when fully extended so it doesn't bend

Reliable and practical pole for pruning at height. For use in the garden it is very good and does exactly what it promises.

  • It helps more with thick and tall branches; on small twigs it 'bounces' and is a bit annoying! Still, it does its job just fine!

The pole along with the other two is just what you need, you avoid using a ladder etc., so you save time in the field on each tree—orange trees, olive trees, mandarin trees—excellent. I have also written a review for the pruner and the saw separately.

If you want to use it with the Nakayama EC1520 chainsaw, which takes the batteries from back to front, you need to unscrew all the screws on the top of the pole, rotate it 180 degrees, and screw it back in. (A 3-minute job).

The pole has code EC1020 and includes a shoulder strap.
I got it as an extension for the EC1050 saw and the EC1250 pruner which use 21V batteries and I tested them OK.
Also, all of these can work together with batteries from Makita 18V tools! The connector fits perfectly.

    UPDATE:
ATTENTION! Makita batteries get damaged if you use them with just the saw or just the pruner. With the pole, there is no problem. The reason is the intermediate connection that some tools have (like the saw and the pruner) which short-circuits Makita batteries. The pole does not have an intermediate connection and is OK.
Anyone who doesn't understand what I'm writing should not mix brands to stay safe.
