The H Anubias 'Mini Coin' is a variety of Anubias created at Tropica's facilities. It is one of the smallest species of Anubias, with leaves smaller than a fingernail. Its growth is very easy, like all Anubias, and it does not like strong light.
The “Mini Coin” thrives best when attached to rocks and wood in the aquarium. If planted in the substrate, the rhizome should not be completely covered as this can cause rotting and the death of the plant. The “Mini Coin” easily branches and forms a dense mat of small, round, dark green leaves. If the plant becomes too dense, it can be carefully separated, and the new plants can be placed elsewhere in the aquarium.
It is ideal for use in nano aquariums, but can also be added to the small details of a larger aquarium.
